You've kept your distance from me.
And I know that it's most likely because
I get too much sleep,
my organizational skills are lacking,
or because I wear this shirt three days a week.

I don't take time to make my hair shine,
bounce, poof or fluff.
My face is never painted up.
I don't have an extensive wardrobe
or any of that stuff.
But each night I kneel down,
and I hear it so clearly:
"My Daughter, it is enough."
