I've never considered being beautiful as something I should be expected to prove to the world, day after day. Beauty is elusive, not a tangible substance. It rests inside and presents itself at appropriate moments - In how you handle yourself in an unflattering or challenging situation, or in the way you feel sitting in a patch of golden, late-evening sunlight. It shows its face as it pleases. Observers and passers by either take note of it or they don't. In this regard, any amount of buffing or bronzing is futile.

I never thought about using slow shutter speeds to photograph a flock of birds, that's genius, these photos are brilliant. And your words, oh it feels so good to see someone else is thinking about beauty like that. It's so true. True beauty is the effortless stuff. It doesn't try. :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, I had never thought of it either! I just got my camera a few months ago and am still figuring things out. These pictures happened due to my lack of skills haha but I was pleased with the way they turned out!
DeleteThese are wonderful pictures! oh how wise you are :)
