you've got color in your cheeks

I'd say long live the weekend,
but I've come to find that it never does.

Weekends, to the disdain of all of us, are short-lived.
Though I'd have to say that I feel as though I live my long life solely for them these days.

It's an abusive relationship.  Not a lot of payback.

The other night, Drew and I were brushing our teeth.  We were trying to have a conversation while doing so, which happens often.  We were failing because our mouths were full of foamy toothpaste, which also happens often.  Then, I forget why, even though who needs a reason? But he started dancing around and humming a song.  And the hand that he wasn't holding his toothbrush in was in the most awkward and hilarious position.

So I made fun of him and he laughed so hard all of the foamy toothpaste fell out of his mouth and onto the floor.

I was thinking that it was one of the funniest moments I've experienced in my recent memory.  And that I just love him so much, because he makes me laugh during all of the mundane things like brushing teeth.

Hoping your weekend lives long

I love reading what you have to say about what I had to say. Feel free to leave those thoughts here.
