After I've been petting her a while and stop, she jumps up, bats my face and licks my chin to get my attention.
It's my favorite.

I hope my last post didn't come off as pretentious.  What I was trying to say is that I found that I had been limiting myself, and that good writing is good writing no matter what century or decade it may have come from.

For whatever reason I don't feel like I got that across.  Who knows why that matters.
